COURSE DESCRIPTION

The December 2013 Paris Drawing Program is a “hands-on” opportunity for beginners, serious students and emerging professionals, available exclusively through Studio Escalier in this location.

The course will feature a structured curriculum on drawing the human figure and copying after masterpieces of sculpture and painting. (16 hrs of life drawing per week; meeting for critique or lectures three times a week at the Musee du Louvre.)

The course schedule will also permit students to draw at night in the Musee du Louvre (on Wednesday and Friday nights).

Studio Escalier will assist all enrolled students to apply for a museum membership (Amis du Louvre, Carte jeunes or Carte professionel), to freely enter and draw in the Musee du Louvre daily, at no further cost. (Costs 15 – 70 euros for annual membership, depending on individual status.)

Please see the application PDF for full course details, on our HOW TO APPLY page.
