Admission to all courses requires online application and portfolio submission, 4 to 6 months before the first day of class.
All courses currently accepting applications are indicated below by the button.

COURSE SCHEDULE – GENERAL OVERVIEW
Studio Escalier operates school studios in Paris, as well as in Argenton-Chateau, France (2.5 hrs southwest of Paris). The course schedule on this page includes ALL upcoming courses in both locations.
We currently only schedule drawing programs in Paris, from October to April annually.

We schedule 6-week, 8-week and 12-week courses in drawing and painting at our campus in Argenton-Chateau, between May and October annually. See our INTENSIVE COURSES page for a more detailed description.
We schedule up to five special programs annually in figure drawing, figure painting, portrait painting or other topics, that may be held in either location. See our SPECIAL PROGRAMS to learn more about what’s planned for the coming year.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
The priority application deadline for every course is 4 to 6 months before the first day of class.
Not all courses are fully enrolled by the priority deadline, and alternates may be needed in case of cancellations.

For a list of tuition prices and payment deadlines, including policies on tuition payment, housing costs and refund requests, click PRICES and PAYMENT.
Need help? SCHOLARSHIPS and work-study aid may still be available for some programs.
Note: Scholarship deadlines are earlier than the deadlines listed above. See below for details.
INTENSIVE COURSES in Argenton-Chateau are enrolled on three deadlines:
a scholarship deadline (6 months before the first day of class)
a priority deadline (5 months before the first day of class), and
a final deadline (if needed, 2 months before the first day of class).
Scholarship application guidelines and deadlines can be reviewed on the Scholarships and Aid page.
Priority applicants enroll at a published, reduced price (approximately 10% discount).
Priority enrollees are also given first housing preference, in the order applications are received.
Final applicants are enrolled at the full tuition price, after the student cancellation/refund deadline has passed.
