CLASS DATES: Monday, 4 MAY – Friday, 29 MAY 2026 (4 weeks)
CLASS SCHEDULE: Portrait drawing form from life
75 hrs total, Monday – Friday (all day Week 1, and afternoons thereafter) as follows:

Week 1: 30 hours, 900 – 1200; 1400-1700 daily
Week 2: 15 hours, 900 – 1200 daily
Week 3: 15 hours, 900 – 1200 daily
Week 4: 15 hours, 900 – 1200 daily

The course will offer a curriculum of in-studio drawing only.
No museum component is offered in this class.

This course schedule permits simultaneous enrolment in 2026 Spring in Paris – Portrait Painting Studio (Afternoons) in Montmartre, to study portrait drawing and painting in Paris all day for 5 weeks total.

CLASS SIZE: 12 maximum + instructors
WHO is ELIGIBLE? Anyone may apply – There are no academic or other pre-requisites.

All students must enroll full-time for the course.
TUITION PRICE: 2400 EUR

Cost of housing in Paris not included.
Students required to find and contract their own housing in Paris.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: “2026 Spring in Paris – Portrait Drawing Studio (Mornings)”

Our Spring in Paris – Portrait Drawing Studio is a special 4-week program that offers a unique curriculum of in-studio drawing from life at our new Montparnasse Studio in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, 75 hrs over 4 weeks (Monday to Friday).

Students will draw on white paper as well as toned paper, using pencil as well as a limited palette of charcoal & chalk. Demonstrations will focus on theory in practice, discussing light and the human form, visual and linear expression, construction, character, and action.

2026 Spring in Paris – Portrait Drawing Studio (Mornings) will be taught by Timothy STOTZ and Nicole Michelle TULLY. The course will offer lecture-demonstrations and critique in the studio 5 days per week.

75 hrs total, Monday – Friday (all day Week 1, and afternoons thereafter) as follows:
