COURSE DESCRIPTION: “2025 Autumn in Paris – Color Studio “
Our Autumn in Paris – Color Studio is a special program that offers a unique curriculum studying color and painting the human form from life in our Paris Program Studio in Montmartre, 80 hrs over 4 weeks.
2025 Autumn in Paris – Color Studio will be taught by Nicole Michelle TULLY and Timothy STOTZ. The course will offer lecture-demonstrations and critique in studio from one instructor 5 days per week.
The course will offer in-studio painting from the human figure for 4 weeks. No museum component is offered in this class.
Students will primarily explore perceptual color using direct/ alla prima painting methods with both limited and prismatic palettes. Various subjects from the human figure: portrait and figure, draped and undraped. Multiple models will offer short (3,5 hour) 2-day (7-hour), and longer poses (15 hours) over the 4 weeks.
80 hrs total, Monday – Friday: as follows
Week 1: 17.5 hours, 930 – 1300 daily
Week 2: 17.5 hours, 930 – 1300 daily
Week 3: 17.5 hours, 930 – 1300 daily
Week 4: 27.5 hours, 930 – 1230; 1430 – 1700 daily
Studio instruction only. No museum component is offered in this class.
